SoftSquare borrows its silhouette from the steamer trunk: squared shoulders, a flat face, and a wide mouth that opens like a wardrobe rather than a clamshell you dig through. It is the shape luggage had before luggage became disposable.
The trunk profile is more than styling. Squared corners pack flatter shirts and stack cleaner in a car boot; the dual-compartment interior, with compression straps on one side and a zipped divider on the other, keeps outbound and return packing from ever meeting.
Two full compartments instead of one deep well. Clothes stay pressed under compression straps; shoes, cables, and toiletries live behind the zipped divider panel.
A built-in combination lock closes both compartments at once. No padlock to lose, nothing dangling from a zip.
The squared profile is reinforced exactly where trunks take their hits, so the silhouette that looked sharp in the store still looks sharp after fifty flights.
